Fall Fashion Inspiration with Courtney Mona

Autumn style is my favourite. The rich colours, sleek silhouettes, and cozy layers are what I am all about. Last week I had an impromptu fashion shoot with local YouTuber, Courtney Mona (@courtneymona). To me, her outfit epitomizes fall/winter fashion, and I love the vintage vibes. I had to share the photos with you all, in the hopes that you’ll draw some inspiration from Courtney’s gorgeous look.

Here’s what Courtney had to say:

It’s no secret that I love fashion. I have a walk in closet with a framed photo that says “this is my happy place.” I love seeing all the colours hung up in my closet. Clothes make me smile.

I truly believe that a cute and well thought out outfit can change your mood for the better. I have been known to purchase a new item or two to wear to a meeting or conference. If you feel good, you’ll perform better and for me clothes do just that.

I would describe my style as feminine and chic with a dash of retro. My style icons are too many to name but I adore Fashion Bloggers such as @colourmecourtney @galmeetsglam and Canadian gal @lapetitenoob (These are the instagram handles lol)
I feel like a hat can pull together any outfit and I’m currently on the hunt for a beret. If you know where I can get one, please share.

I think the key to being confident in your skin is wearing what you like, when you like and how you like. I try not to get too caught up in thinking “what will so and so think about this outfit.” Life is too short for that nonsense. Wear what makes you happy!
