A little information about Indigena products: all products are made from chemical-free, locally sourced, food-grade ingredients. No parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, carcinogens, or artificial fragrances. They do not test on animals. Their plant-based ingredients make their products rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Indigena products are 100% organic, vegan, and made with love. Needless to say, there are plenty of reasons to invest in these products and to proudly support the brand!
We recently tried out some new products and we have some old faves that we repurchase consistently because we can’t get enough! Here are some of our go-to products from Indigena this season:
Lip Balms. Our all-time favorite Indigena lib balm is Smooch, however, Blueberry Bliss is a close second. Winter is the time for chapped lips and dry skin, and these two products have been my saviors over the past few months. Unlike many lip products, these do not contain water, meaning they soften and moisturize your lips without further drying them out. They come at a great price. Your lips will thank you.
Face Creams. The Sea Veggie Facial Lotion has been my ride-or-die over the past year. It has gotten me through small bouts of eczema on my face and just kept my skin quenched in general. I really love it because it feels not only moisturizing but also purifying and gentle on my sensitive skin.
I recently tested the Blueberry Bliss Day Creme and was again very impressed. It is different from the Sea Veggie lotion in that it is less oily, so it is better for combination skin and is a more versatile product in my opinion. I think the Sea Veggie lotion will be kept for times when I’m experiencing extremely dry skin, whereas the Blueberry Bliss facial cream will become a part of my daily routine. I highly recommend them both!
Face Masques. I have had major success with the Blueberry Bliss Face Masque in two ways– I don’t know if they are the proper usage, but it works for me! First, I combine it with water and focus it on blemishes as a spot treatment for zits, which works like magic. The probiotics and antioxidants really work to bring down the redness and swelling. Secondly, when my lips are really dry, I combine the powder with coconut oil and use it to exfoliate away dead skin. My lips are left feeling softer than ever. Give it a try!
Face and Body Toner. Sea Mineral MistThe has been a go-to for Linds for quite some time. She uses it for a post-workout skin boost, while traveling, or on a hot summer day. It is really refreshing and purifying. She keeps hers in her gym bag!
Moisture Melt. Another great product to keep in your gym bag, the Moisture Melt is like a dry skin first-aid. It is solid at room temperature, so to use it you must immerse the bottle in hot water until it melts. Apply anywhere from head to toe. Also has been working great with my eczema.
Soap. The Sea Goddess Soap is not just a pretty addition to your bathroom– it will get you clean and keep your skin feeling fresh and hydrated. I’m really enjoying the scent of this soap because it is not too strong or perfumey. Fun fact: this is the amenity soap at the world-renowned Fogo Island Inn!
Bath Bombs. They may not be vibrantly colored or glittery, but they fizz like any other and have a relaxing scent that allows you to unwind in a bath at the end of a long day. These bath bombs make excellent gifts or the perfect treat to yourself. The botanicals in these bath bombs are hand picked and are able to neutralize chlorine in your bathwater! My personal fave is the Bakeapple Bath Bomb.
Exfoliants. Drumroll, please. Our all-time favorite Indigena product is the Blueberry Bliss Sugar Scrub. This exfoliant smells (and tastes, haha) fantastic. It has a light, sweet, citrusy scent that will leave you feeling energized. I always use it before shaving my legs for a softer shave, I use it on my lips, occasionally on my face, and on my feet. The coconut oil leaves your skin super soft even after you have washed the scrub away. Trust us here and please give this product a try!
I really hope you enjoyed reading this article and got at least a little inspiration from it. We really believe in these products and wouldn’t share them with you if we didn’t. I truly recommend any product from their Blueberry Bliss line, they are all fantastic!
