It has been over five years since I went to Europe. I’ve been dying to get back there, and lately, I’ve found myself reminiscing on the ten days that I spent there. From the food to the architecture to the history and the shops, what isn’t there to love? Here are some of my favourite shots from the city of London.
Some of my favourite sites were Notre Dame Cathedral, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. But more than anything, I really loved just wandering the side streets. Three days in this bustling, vibrant (but really foggy) city was not nearly enough. I am so excited to go back someday.
The first photo pictured below is one of my favorites. It pictures the divide between the city of London and the greater London area. As far as I know, there are two different governing bodies and the class divide there is quite obvious. As you can see, there is trash and graffiti on one side of the street and the opposite side is meticulous. (Thanks to my friend Andrew for helping me remember this!) I always find this picture so interesting.
A while back, I did a similar post about my time in Italy— you can check that out here!
